Regretfully, intake is temporarily suspended until some of our available Bassets are adopted. However, we will always speak with you regarding any abuse/neglect case, or a situation where a dog is in danger of being euthanized. All others can request to be put on a waiting list. Thank you.

FOSTERS NEEDED! A long term committment is not always required. Short-term fostering is extremely helpful, and very much appreciated.

**Just a reminder: BBR is based in Louisville, KY. However, our adoptable dogs are not always being fostered in the metro area. Please be patient if you are out of the metro area and waiting for adoption approval. We are dedicated to matching the right dog with the right adopter. This takes time, especially if we have to check references, or do home visits in another locale. Thank you!
