Ruben James is a 1 yr old pup looking for a family.  He is very small and not expected to get much bigger than his current 30 pounds.  He is shy right now--overwhelmed in his foster home with so many other dogs--but he is learning to warm up to strangers.  Bonds closely with other dogs (esp ones who are also a little shy.)  Needs someone who will be patient with him and give him the time he needs to adjust.   Housebroken and LOVES cats!

UPDATE:  Ruben James is still very skittish and cautious.  He woudl not be suitable around children just due to his timidity.  He will not play with children and won't make a good companion pet for them.  He still runs away from his foster parents, can be very excitable and does not listen to commands.
