Belle is a 3 yr old Southern Gal from Mississippi who lost her home when her people had to move.  She was an indoor-only basset for the first 2 years of her life, but after a special needs baby came along, she was kept outside.  She is very active and while she loves children, she can overwhelm them with her energy.  We recommend her for older children--at least school-age.  She is working on re-learning her housetraining and is doing a good job.  Crate trained.  It appears she was largely ignored in her previous home and so she has been undergoing training to help her adjust to people and activity in the home.  If she had someone home all day with her, the foster mom feels she would be housebroken in no time.
