Please sign our guestbook and leave us some comments! We'd love to hear about your bassets, whether adopted from us or not! This is a monitored guestbook and comments are reviewed by admin before being posted :) Message From: Kelli December 21, 2010 We adopted Padamae from Susan May 10 2008. She has been a blessing for my family. She is spoiled like you wouldnt believe. Padamae has a brother who is a Siberan Husky and a sister who is a cat and of course she has her family. She has adjusted to live in Michigan and our cold winters. She loves to play in the snow as long as her humans kids are outside with her. We could not have asked for a better dog, and I will refer Blue Grass Basset to anyone that is looking to adopt a basset. Message From: Lisa November 2, 2010 I have 2 bassets. Avery, who I've had since he was a pup and Mooger who I adopted from a family who's child was allergic...yeah, allergies! sure! their loss. Both hounds are just over 4 and are such a joy. They make me laugh every day and don't listen worth a hoot..lol. God bless all the animals..not one should ever be treated poorly and I hope karma gets the bad people out there. greetings, howls and drool from Moe, Avery and me in Alberta, Canada. Message From: Lorra September 27, 2010 Hello I have recently lost my bassett to old age and am looking to adopt or atleast foster another one. I have no idea how to go about how to get into foster care. If anyone can help me you can contact me at lschlienger@yahoo.come or you can text me at 7314181573. These dogs are my passion. my name is Lorra. thank you. Message From: Kim August 28, 2010 You have a great site Susan! I know bassets are your passion. Our Bessie Mae adopted us about 3 years ago when she came wondering in. She is the greatest. Can't believe that someone would just let her "go" and not try to find her. Bessie is VERY spoiled, just ask the 2 legged kids, but than again how can you resist the eyes of a basset? Message From: Cindy S. Utz August 26, 2010 I adopted Ellie Mae from you 3 months ago. When we got her she was so skinny, but is a full round basset now. She's settled into her new home perfectly. She sleep right next to me in bed on her own pillow, but hates the covers. She stays in our yard with out a leash and minds very well. The first time we gave her a frosty paw we thought she won't know want to do with it, but were we fooled. She knew exactly what to do with it. I've already spoiled her and we all love her very much. Message From: Joe July 30, 2010 I adopted Ollie in Oct. 2007. He is a great basset that loves belly rugs, being a couch potato, and frolicking in his big fenced in yard. He is a wonderful companion and I thank you for giving me the chance to adopt him! I admire the work you do to make sure these wonderful dogs find a good home! Message From: MARIE June 23, 2010 I love basset hounds and hope to someday be able to foster them. I can't believe anyone would ever hurt these cute loving animals. Keep up the good work! Message From: Elaine Daffron June 14, 2010 Wonderful new website. Oh those pics are just so heartwarming. I love Bassets more than ANY other dog. Message From: Layla Jane Emond June 4, 2010 Hello, Me and my mom liked looking at your site a bunch. My human sister is away today so we are spending special time. I like to look at other dogs like me. Mom says maybe one day she would like to have another Bassie come live with us as a "foster" just until she finds out if we play well together. This is my family FOREVER. I would like to help another find a forever like I did. Thanks Again. Layla Jane Message From: Brenda March 4, 2010 I adopted Bubba from Bluegrass Basset Rescue in June, 2008. He is them most precious dog. He sleeps with my husband and me and is such a joy. We are all very happy together. |
